Fiat X1/9 1300 for sale

I am looking for an x1/9 would this be a good buy? is the earlier model more troublesome or harder to get parts. I would have thought it would have been more money seeing at has been restored. thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Rob,
I have had two 1300’s over the last 5 1/2 years and so far I’ve managed to get all the parts I’ve needed either from the two main specialist suppliers and on a couple of occasions from other club members. My mechanical know how isn’t that great but even I’ve managed to replace a clutch slave cylinder, the manifold gaskets, an exhaust pipe and done most of the basic routine stuff myself, so I don’t think they can be that troublesome to work on.
I wouldn’t like to comment as to whether it’s a good buy or not but if the description is correct (no rust) then it must be worth a call. I would ask for some close up all over photographs.

It is back on at a higher price

it says a higher price because the reg now comes with it, i didnt read in the original advert that it didnt include the reg number....i think they realised the x1/9 was worth more than their original price

The original advert did include the plate

i thought so,so basically they think they under-priced it or someone told them had its quite a jump in price
