Here are a few pics of the progress Nick and I have made so far.
Using an mgf gear mechanism, ferrari 328 gate and a modified uno turbo top change gear box (accommodating a punto GT 215mm flywheel). I've always wanted a central tunnel and this was the perfect excuse.

I've always wanted this look for the interior - much more comfortable and sports-car like

What I have also found with the leather seats when pushing it, is you can slide around a bit, especially on a track. This give bucket seat support.

The cables have virtually no bends and are much shorter in length than the mgf ones, so should give a nice smooth change

Great work, the opportunity to use a bigger clutch and stronger gearbox is worth it
