Too tall?

Hello all,
I've been looking at buying a useable (but in need of a bit of resto) older car for a while now. Having looked at Mk1 MR2s, MX5s, Z3s, E30s and so on, it seems to be the crafty Italian flair of the X1/9 that I keep returning to.

I started looking into getting one when a friend mentioned that my height may mean that I would have trouble fitting inside. I am 6'2". I'm just wondering if this is likely to be a problem and if so, if there are any changes I could make to rectify the problem.

I am 6'2" and fit I take it you have short legs and a long body ??

That's good news then! I'm pretty evenly proportioned I think.
What I'm hoping to do though is try and swap my Civic 1.6 5 door (2001 reg) with somebody who needs a larger car. I'm not expecting a concourse example, just a useable X1/9 with as little rust as possible!
