BURLEY CAR SHOW SUNDAY 18TH AUG was created by JULIET QUARMBY
We will be having a stand at this fab little show on Sunday. Details below:
The Burley Classic Show, one of the key events in the Burley Summer Festival, will be taking place again this year, on Sunday 18th August.
Now in its 5th year, the show has gone from strength to strength, building steadily from 60 entries in the first year, to over 300 last year. With exhibits ranging from Classic British Sportscars to Traction Engines and Military Vehicles , the show has proved a firm favourite with spectators and exhibitors alike. This year the show will be held once again at Burley Cricket Club on Grange Road, Burley in Wharfedale and we would be delighted to accept entries from owners wishing to exhibit their vehicles. Classes being judged this year are: Car, Commercial, Custom, Motorcycle, Tractor, and 4X4 - all awards will be given out on the day. As last year, there will also be a Visitors Choice Award - to be voted on by the general public.
As in previous years, there is no charge for display vehicles entering the show, and no entry charge for spectators.
Bookings: Not required – just turn up
Rosie and i will be there, also the strong possibility of a one owner 1977 1300, the first exxie ever sold in Huddersfield, making an appearance.
Anyone else up for this?
