New member - Just re-joined

Hi, I've just re-joined the club after an 18 month break. In the meantime, I sold my old VS to a guy in Nottingham who is totally restoring it - it needed structural work, which I could not tackle.

Looking for something else, I stumbled on a Mica Blue Gran Finale on preloved.com, local, with full service history,all MOT's, 45,000 miles and totally solid top and bottom with original paint and 12 months MOT. I bought her on April 1st......

The alcantara seats were completely shot in the centres and I am having them re-trimmed, saving as much of the original as possible. I have carbon-fibre wrapped the roof, which looks surprisingly good for a diy job, and am currently sorting a few minor electrical maladies. i'm looking for a smaller steering wheel and a set of Gran Finale rear wing and dash badges - so if there is anything at a reasonable price out there, please let me know.

I've done a few Cheshire classic shows recently with the X19 with the local Hare & Hounds classic Club at Gawsworth and Capesthorne, and was the only x19 there. Went to the Tatton Park, Knutsford show today and met two other Gran Finale owners, both with immaculate 20,000 mile cars and both not club members.

Anyway, looking forward to getting involved with local club activities. Attached photo of my car today at Tatton.
