Handbrake warning light flashing when handbrake off, brakes all ok so its a switch or sensor ideas

Fluid level is fine both reservoirs and passed brake test on mot so surely

Irrespective of the fluid level try disconnecting the test cable from the reservoir and see if it makes a difference (may need to short the pins, I can't remember why way the switch works).

Its a single earth wire to both hand brake and reservior, so if any of these wires are earthing somewhere it would bring the light on.

I've the same problem and found by moving hbrake lever a little it goes out ,so I put it down to the switch out of line.Have'nt got round to fixing it yet,just living with it for now!Hope this might help.

And the answer was ..... No switch was present just the remains of a broken, £4 later new switch light goes out :-) simple hehe
