Coil Springs - Group Buy??

More

I have started this new post just to highlight the possibility of a group buy discount for sets of standard 1500 coil springs, see below:

I now have prices for O.E. spec 1500 coil springs with gloss black powder coating.
1 car set=£140+vat/delivered, 5 sets=£100+vat/set, 10 sets=£85+vat/set.
These are from www.coilsprings.co.uk
Is anyone else interested in trying to get a group buy discount?
Please let me know.

I would of thought a group buy on lowered springs/shocks would be more appealing?

Lowered springs are readily available anyway. People wanting to keep standard ride are finding it difficult to find springs and dampers, hence the enquiry to see if these is any interest.
I am personally not interested in lowering my X19 - I have had enough modified track cars over the years. I just want to keep mine in top standard condition.

I don't think the club could afford or I could store 10 sets of springs. If I can get 10 paid confirmed orders for the springs it could be considered

I suspect that there is probably not enough interest to generate a group buy for standard springs. I will place an order next week, so if there is any interest, please let me know ASAP. Thanks

I count 4, Martin, Peter, me(Andrew)and Sandra. Could the club pick up the 5th set to get the discount?

Sorry for the delay in posting again, busy travelling the globe as usual. It didn't look like there was going to be sufficient interest to get a discount. As I needed the springs for a complete suspension rebuild, I have ordered 1 set. I am happy to act as guinea pig and let everyone know how the springs work out (with photos) so people will know exactly what they would get. Then if there are enough people interested, the club could organise a group buy? I hope this is OK and sorry if anyone was desperate to get some on order - obviously you can make your own individual orders if you want to.

It's the usual thing, everybody wants things till it comes to it I have had one order for mats when I thought I should have had 5 or more. If I had more storage I could keep them but one or two sets could be possible to keep but not five.

Come back to me if anyone wants springs or mats and we can sort something

I would want a set of lowered springs to get the 1300 ride height... not standard 1500 personally...

1983 1500 (currently restoring it)
1989 1500 GF - on the road
2003 Mazda RX8 - modern version of the X1/9

Aspires to a Lancia MonteCarlo (code number by Fiat and Lancia X1/8 then X1/20)

Me too- I'd be in for a set of lowered and slightly stiffer springs.
