Really remarkable changes to the website and ethos since last summer ... well done to all for driving it all through.
Since I was last here I did quite a lot of work on 'Scarlett' last summer to bring her up to scratch. Lots of rust prevention, fixed the rad valve (still have scars), new carpets, K & N kit ... oh loads! She was a 100% reliable show car in the autmun and a daily driver for the Mrs when the weather was good. She is now back on axle stands as 1st and 2nd gear have disappeared (3rd and 4th being where they used to be!). Wife's report of doing a hill start in 3rd gear and being submerged in clutch smoke suggest that I have a nit of work to do this spring!
All for another day ... in the meantime ... nobody leaves OK?!?!?

Get under the car and slacken off the two bolts on the lollipop, get your wife or maybe a special friend to move the gear stick forwards and backwards a few times (it should be moving free of the gearbox arm), then get said wife or special friend to centre the gear stick then re tighten the bolts and give it a try.
let us know but that should re centre the lollipop, whilst your under there check the condition of the lollipop.
