Hello guys and girls.
I have just acquired an x1/9 and had the pleasure of driving an 80 mile journey home from watford to the outskirts of kent..............needless to say, I had a right laugh.
I was wondering whether there were any other locals in or around the kent/south east london areas?? Also if there is any information on my lil yellow motor, as I believe the previous, previous owner (s) were members of the club.
Many thanks
Ryan

Hello Ryan,
Welcome to the wonderful world of the X1/9. I don't have any details of your car but I am sure someone in the club will know about it or be able to get some info.
Lots planned for this year with runs out and trips etc.. So keep an eye on the forum for more details.
The biggest trip will be a jaunt across the Channel to France with approx 7 x1/9's at the moment. Might be more when we get a bit closer to the time and some warmer weather
If you need any help or assistance shout out on the forum. We are a friendly bunch and only too willing to help fellow X1/9 owners.

Hi Ryan,
I don't have any info about your car either, but it looks very nice. I am a fan of yellow Fiats and also color coded hard tops!
Enjoy the car and welcome to the forum.
There is a large Italian car gathering at Brooklands in May, I saw about 6-8 there last year, even on a rainy day.

Awesome, thanks guys. I did see a notice about the italian car show at brooklands, will have to get involved in that. Has been a fun couple of days thus far. Lots of waving pedestrians and drivers alike. Lots of people keep coming up to me and chatting about the car. Very few about my neck of the woods.
Havent seen one in years, probably since the last time I owned one in 2005. Am glad to be behind the wheel of one again. Cant wait for some better weather and getting the roof off :0)

Hi Ryan
I too live in Kent albeit on the coast close to Canterbury.
I bought my 88 "F" plate X1/9 in July last year having previously had one in 1984!
Your car looks great in yellow.
If you are ever down this way do drop me a message.
