OK I have tried everythingbut my divers side window is painfully slow to go up.
I will have to buy a new motor but I cannot find instructions on how to remove and refit the motor as its not in my Haynes manual wich has no mention of electric windows.
Anybody out there know howto do this.
Thanks

Have you tried greasing the runners and lubricating the motor? I had a similar problem on my old car, just remove the handle/arm rest and door card (becareful as the little plastic clips that secure the door cards break easily) and you should be able to operate the window and spot any problems.

I used white grease on the runners and WD-40 on the motor, it worked much better after that... not as fast as a modern electric window but as well as expected.

Hi there.
If it turns out that you do need a new window motor, I have both sides left from the car I broke up. Will come complete with the linkage parts, just £20 each plus p&p. I'll sell them separate as well. TIM.
Many other parts left.......mobile 07775528959
