Sorry chaps but they are massive photo-shop mock-ups......Not a chance in hell that first ones wheels would turn in those arches! Fiat have already stated they are not getting back in to the 2-seater market......

well they are missing out then. have they not realised the mx5 was a massive hit?

maybe we should start an online petition for a revamped x1/9 and then send it to fiat...

I think the perception is that Alfa and Abarth with be the 'sporting' brands with Lancia a more Luxury approach and Fiat an everymans/family brand.

I reckon that taking on the tt , z4, boxster market would only end in tears for fiat . Who is going to buy a fiat for 30+k??. If they aimed it at the mx5/mr2/mgf price range or less then it might go well....but isn't there an alfa romazda mx spider due soon?

Minimal budget car with fiat 2.ltr turbo motor copy the X1/9 with roof in the boot or behind seats idea none of that electronic fold away roof no complicated gizmos.
