The X1/9 thermostat housing has two steel by - pass water outlets which are screwed into the casting. The thread used is metric of 1.5 pitch which for this application appears to be a Fiat exclusive.
Does anyone know of a supplier of these outlets or is there an alternative (I have toyed with replacing them with standard 1/2" and 3/4' outlets but I would have to re thread the housing to BPT or NC), which allows retention of the existing hose.
