Still Hunting non-rusty 1500!

Further to my previous Forum message ( #29330 )I am still seeking a decent 1500, but wilh little luck so far. Either too expensive from dealers, or too much rust when you get to examine them!
Hence please ignore my original reluctance to travel and for the right car I will now grit teeth, gird loins and venture just about anywhere in Uk!,
Any suggestions welcome,
Regards, Richard

As discussed here's my email address for any photos you may have. The car sounds good, and I wonder if I were to come up to buy it, did you say that you could perhaps get some tax on it so that I could drive it back?(is it still insured for yourself?)
I would actually quite fancy coming up as I haven't seen the new Glasgow transport museum, which I understand is excellent!. Means getting a B&B on the way back I suppose, but a decent 400+ mile 'fun' drive as long as the weather co-operated!
Am I right in remembering that you mentioned the price then would be £1750 cash??
Look forward to seeing the photos.,
Regards and thanks for the call, Richard ( r.bartholomew@freeuk.com )

Did you get an X? There is one advertised on the board now that needs a bit of recommissioning.
Regards,
Terry.

No Terry, not an new Owner yet!. Some tempting offers, but all rather too far away so far.
One really does need to see and drive such a model before waving one's wallet. So time will tell.
I will try to look at the one you have just mentioned,
Cheers, Richard
