Club AGM

Is anybody in a position to provide a summary of the AGM and the new committee structure?

I'm sure one of us can do you a quick summary later and post it, if you like ? I'm fairly sure that the full minutes will be out in due course, but I know it's nice to know what happened before that. It was a positive meeting with a good discussion about membership numbers, rates, the magazine, general club 'PR' and there are some actions taken away for the new committee to look into. Rob Warren is the new Chairman and will be well received, I'm sure.

I believe it is the intention to post the minutes on the website, however, we perhaps need to give the secretary a chance to write them up first! After all, this is not his full time job so need to cut him some slack.

No, I am not on the committee, I am just an "ordinary paid up member" who bothered to turn up to the AGM.

We should now all get behind the new committee and particularly support Rob who will do a fine job as chairman.

No Charlie it's not secret stuff mate, it's simply called 'getting everything confirmed officially before you post it on the forum' so you don't look like an idiot later on when somebody pulls out! Now that everything is ready I will start a new thread.
