Hello from Wales

Hi guys,
I know this sounds pretty pathetic but I'm having a drink tonight because after many, many years I have bought a 1983 X/19 sv. I've always liked X/19's, I remember talking to a guy when I was in the Army back in 1984 asking about buying his but it never came off. Well I found one on e-bay and it was only down the road from me so I tonight I went to see it, checked the turrets etc and found it mainly rush free, some on the wheel arches but nothing o worry about. Anyway after a chat with the guy, he agreed to take sop the auction and sell it to me or £500. Of course its a project but I'm really chuffed and it'll keep me quiet over the winter so my wife is pleased. When I get it home I'll take some photo's and post in the projects section. Next step join the owners club. Great to finally own a X/19, only had to waited 28 years, couple more pints now to celebrate.

Welcome to x19 ownership - I have always been a fan since I was at junior school and my teacher had an 1300 Special Series in Orange.
