Dashboard warning lights

Had my x1/9 two weeks and am going over it checking and rectifying minor faults. Two dashboard warning lights don't work - handbrake on and low fuel. Have looked into first of these and obvious reason is most of switch below handbrake lever is missing. Just a securing nut, spring and loose electrical connector. Light seems to work fine when connector earthed manually on brake handle. Does anyone know where I could get a new switch? Also any tips on what problem might be with low fuel level warning light before I start taking wrong things apart. Many thanks.

this switch looks fairly similar and is also Italian so has a good chance fitting, Ferrari are known to use fiat parts.

as for the fuel warning light try shorting the wire on the sender to ground and see if the light comes on. Think red/black is warning light and blue/yellow is the gauge.

Ian,

I now have a working handbrake warning light! New switch came very promptly from Superformance and was exactly the same as original. Haven't tackled fuel light yet but I can live without this. Many thanks for your good advice.
