Hi.
I do have the four hole sterring wheel just cannot get the horn to work !, this other one came with the car so fitted it as the horn worked.
The gear knob I have also ! its in the glove box, just prefrered the leather one ! and the door cards (well) it did have the ones with the blanking plate, but were not such good condition, agian these came with the car so I fitteds them as they are in near purfect condition.
And the 5speed badge is on the boot lid,
If I could get the horn working I would refit the steering wheel as I prefer it, and them flog the Bertone one!
any idea's / iv'e tried al sorts to get it to work, I know it's a simple connection but its proving a bit of a s**d to work.

Check the wiper switch/turn signal switch assembly is not clamped too far down the steering column - the 2 horn contacts will not quite touch the brass horn contact ring on the underside of the steering wheel.

I will check to see, but the horn on this one worked without any problems, it seems that all the workings are sealed in a plastic housing in the centre of the wheel.
The other wheel looks so much better ! and it would be great to refit it.
Did they supply a manual winder for the windows ? I suppose it's not much good now the other cards are fitted, the electric windows work fine, drivers is a little slow but does work.
Thanks for the advice Neil, I will take a look and try and get it working.

Well, orginal steering wheel back on and horn now working
While the weather weld off today, an oil and filter change was in order.
after topping back up with semi synthectic, the oil pressure guage on tick over sitson o around 2bar or a quarter of the way up, on giving it a few revs, it then sits just under 4bar, is this correct for the tick over ? it doesn't go above 4bar on driving either.
Having consulted the origonal owners manual, all that says is that the light will come on is there is not enough pressure
Can anyone give us an idea of what thier pressure guage reads ?
Thanks

Sounds about right, some sit just under 4 bar some just over - all I've had drop right down on tick over - bit like an extra rev counter!
If things are strange its usuall been the sensor or gauge that have been at fault. Keep the oil level to the top marking on the dipstick!
Cheers Andrew

Hi Andrew.
I look the old girl to work this morning, first time she's been out since the oil change.
Once on the dual carrageway and gave her some gas and up around 80 mph, it was sitting just over 4bar. so i'm happy with that !
Like you mention on tick over it sits quite close to the bottom of the guage, but no red light :woohoo:
Next challange i will have is to replace the arm bearings, i think the o/s one is knackered as the wheel seems to be leaning in slightly at the top and this I beleive is causing a slight whurring noise from the whell bearing (at speed) .
