I was the only X1/9 at Honnington Farm a couple of years ago ;) , I'm intending on going again this year. There is lots more shows between now and then.

Can you make the pub meeting at knockholt mike?

I'm up for the Honnington day !, I will register.

It would be good to meet some other members, Ian can you inform me of any other local events and meets that are planned? or is there another way to find out?

I put this together but it is purely a list of events I thought may be of interest.

I quite like the classic show UK website

I plan to take my car to the Bodiam Classic Car show next Sunday 17th June. It's at Bodiam Castle between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings. I live 2 miles up the road, so would be great to meet other owners and club members from the South East.

Not sure a 1989 car is strictly a classic in there view, but I'm taking it anyway to see if I can park it with the other classic cars where it deserves to be. :-)

Hi Richard, yes i saw that one was on at Bodiam, but alas i will not be able to attend was I have work commitments this Sunday, but thats a lovely setting and would have been great to go!


I have noticed on the classic show site thst there is also the Bexhill 100 down here on the coast, and as Bexhill is the birthplace of motoring, this appears to be another good show and would be great to meet up there ,it mentions that there should be over 300 cars on the day, I have E-mailed the guy to see if you have to register or just turn up.

I went to Bexhill Classic car show last year, had a good time, very friendly club. I turned up on the day and was made very welcome. Enterence fee was very little.
This years date is Monday 27th August (summer bank holiday)

Are there any other members from this part of the world thinking of attending the Bexhill 100 on the 27th August?

I will be there, apparently it's a good day and well attended.

Yeah, I'll try. I'm also goning to try to get to the Thursday meet later this month at Knockhill near Sevenoaks. Depending on weather and car.

I Would love to come to that meet, but alas i'm waitng on a new rad to arrive! if I can get it fitted in time I may well turn up.

i have a full service to9 do as well in the mean time.

Hopefuuly i will make it, it would be a nice little run for the exxy
