distributor

fas anyone got a mag marelle s178 distributor going or the seal and plastic collar to seal where it fits into block.any help will be appreciated.

John, does it have to be a S178 or will a S135 do?

I would imagine the 135 will be ok.i sent mine to ignitioncar parts for their elect.ign but its not suitable for the 178 and they told me that the drive gear was broken when they received it and i haven't been able to find new parts so i'll go for the 135 .let me know how much and how to pay.

I'll need to drive over to my garage to have a look and see what I've got and condition etc.. There is a S178 on ebay at the moment for £105 but might be worth going for the 135 if you want electronic ignition anyway?
