Well, March is nearly over and I haven't put up a new Car of the Month. :(
Any offers before we get into April? My Car of the Month cupboard is bare at the moment.
Mail any pics and a write up admin@x1-9ownersclub.org.uk

It's very nice of you to say so Tony, but she's seen better days (plus she's already been Car of the Month in the dim and distant past).

That reminds me, I need to move all the old Car of the Months across from the old site... Sorting out this site is like painting the Forth Bridge

Hi All,

I'm new to the Forum and the Club, I have just taken delivery of a 1989 Gran Finale in Mica Blue with only 19,500 Miles on the clock, car looks and runs like new, goes well in the Garage with my Montecarlo.

Happy to put her forward for April.

Best Regards,

Nick.

Nice one guys. Look forward to receiving the pics...

I should be able to build up a nice little stockpile of submissions for the first time in ages.

Many thanks.

Welcome to the club Nick - what a nice pair of stablemates to have, an X1/9 and a Monteacarlo - I used to have a pair of S1 Montecarlos many moons back.... post up a picture of the two together if you can!

Hi Jim,

Thanks for the warm welcome, my Montecarlo has been in my family since new, original and unrestored and only 48k on the clock, even the Air Con still works!

I can remember back in 1981 as a fresh faced ten year old my late Uncle picking me up from School in the car and all my little friends thought it was a Ferrari!

I will try and get a picture of both cars together, I have attached a couple of pics of the car on a Classic & Sportscar Magazine Photoshoot back in August of last year at the Top Gear Test Track near Guildford, you may notice the X1/9 in shot also.......

Best Regards,

Nick.
