Greetings from a former Member/Organiser

Hello Everyone,

I was involved in the club through most of the 90's - mainly as NW regional organiser, but in a few other roles too, as well as several of the trip's etc.

I had 5 X1/9's in total starting with a 79 - going all the way through to an "H" registered GF

I left in 1997, because I emigrated to the US, I almost bought another x1/9 here, but that's for another discussion, along with the state of the club - I hate to say this but its bemusing to read through the posts - back in my day we literally had the same problems.

Anyway - Waving to anyone that remembers me, I recognise at least two names...

I was only reminding my elder son, Kester, about how he nearly put you off eating that lobster on the Jersey trip :lol:
He's now 21 and at Uni :ohmy:

Juliet - doing well, now the Father to an 11 year old - poor soul looks just like me, send me a private message, I will give you my email address. I do remember Kester and the Jersey Trip, but I did enjoy the lobster

Neil - I know what you mean, in some ways I would like another one, but nice ones here go for big money, and I want either an early one, or one of the last with A/C (you need it here in Texas)
