Has anyone had the Cascu 1300 bumpers fitted?

Any recommendations of anyone that can fit them and at what cost?

The fittings that come with the Cascu are not brilliant, I did away with their fixing kit and made my own

Its not the end of the world but its not a plug and play option, i will say they look very good when fitted right.

what about the existing bumper tubes? Are they in the right position to use with the 1300 cascu bumpers?

Yes they could be used but you would need to weld a bracket to the front bumper bars and need to fabricate a bolt system in the fibreglass.

On my hillclimb car I made up some lengths of threaded plastic rod and bolted them on through holes I drilled in the bodywork.
Result is really quite tidy (and very light).
Previously I have made up brackets but they are a fiddle.

Gordon, could you be more specific? Do you have any photos of how you did this?

Thats similar to how I did it but I counter sunk the bolts filed them in with body filler and then painted black, i also fitted a piece of wood and bonded it to the inside of the bumper to give a section to counter sink into,
I also used three bolts as two bolts still left it to move a little

I had the wholes filled and repainted after this photo

Looks good, Mark. Do you have any photos of how things ended up at the front?

I'm curious to know what I'll need.

1300 front indicators, rear number plate lights and the cascu bumper set?
