First of all apologies for posting this here but I wanted as many people in the club to be aware of this X1/9 for sale.
I was browsing ebay the other day and spotted this 'barn find'. I have been and had a look at the car and if someone is after a very quick resto and on the road job then this has to be a bargain.
It's been off the road since 2002, had a respray and I couldn't see any visible evidence of bubbling coming through on the bodywork. Arches are good, boot and bonnet good, and doors good.
Some patches on the inside front boot on the struts (usual places) and a patch on the offside rear strut.
Floors are good too, no obvious patching or any welding...
Interior is really good. Door cards and rear panel and A1, seat have been re-trimmed to a very high quality in white leather.
I would guess that some fresh, fuel, new battery and it would start. It's been stored by a garage (firm) that has gone into liquidation. So stuff is being sold off.
I am very tempted to buy it and use the doors, boot and bonnet for my resto but it really is too good to break... Would luv it to go to a club member and get back on the road quickly...

I know it's hard not to resist! I'm sort of tempted by the Riley that's up for sale too as part of the clearance, also check out the 30k peugot for 200£ that is a minter!
Saw that today and it needs some brake work done but is a bargain and factory fresh....
Check out the other items from the seller..
