All depends on the condition of the engine mate - I would be suprised if there was any increase on a standard engine without re-jetting the carb. Pete, fancy Santa Pod this year? I'm aiming for end of may for completion on my turbo. Nick's 24v V6 is Mot'd - just needs an interior. Man it's quick!!

its a standard engine, standard carb, standard jets,i think they will be a few interested in santa pod, remember pottsy? he has made a challenge with his faran eliminator on xweb site,i had a glorious day out in my x1/9 its getting better and better the more i use it,had wheel spin in 2nd gear today in a straight line, never had that with my uno turbo x1/9s,so this is pretty quick, nicks claiming 3.8 secs 0 to 60mph to get that surely he would need 400 bhp+ not 250bhp?

If you think any difference will be made then remove the air filter all together. take it round the block. Might sound great but I doubt it will go much faster. 8)

I'm not sure of the 0-60 but the mid range grunt is huge and it will easily spin in 2nd. I'm hoping mine will keep up, it's much lighter and should b pushing 180bhp. That's what turbo technics said, without the cam and charge cooler. End of may is my personal deadline. It's been 10pm finishes in the garage most nights!

i love modified x1/9s so all is good, more the merrier :) i have about 80 more miles before i can redline mine cos new pistons and conrods were fitted when the head was ported ,my wheelspin was not intentional :) one of my uno turbo x1/9s had 160bhp and that was fun
