THE NATIONAL MEET 2011 was created by thorpeyx1/9
i think this year we are going to see more modified x1/9s t than in previous years,last year we only had graham allen's race tuned 1500,looking forward to seeing a few uno turbo's and twin cam/turbo/supercharged versions and hopefully some wicked bodykitted ones ....for those of you that have not done the national meet go for it its excellent

There is nothing definite yet, but that's the location we are looking at and those are the dates.

I assume because there is a shed load of other meets going on and that's also the time when a lot of us go on our holidays?

Im just being selfish. It's the only weekend of the year my job won't let anyone have off. So since I have been here I have missed every National since. Prior to that I attended 90% of them :oops: Just a bit gutted as it's the main show I look forward to and save up to attend. :roll:
But sh*t happens you can't please everyone.

would be nicer in the warmer weather but when it is summer i too find it hard to get the time off work as its our busiest time of the year

Other issues are cost (more 'cos schools are off) and availability of accommodation (less choices 'cos everyone with kids is on holiday).

April wasn't too popular either - but there were reasons for that one.

If we can decide where to hold 2012 national early enough, then May/June could be considered.

Out of curiosity Tony, what's special about 2nd week in September?
