i was meant to go see my x1/9 today the weather is too bad to go on a 65 mile drive,staying in the nice dry warmth of home :)

Don't blame you, I'm refitting all the shiny bits to the engine ready for the cars return, just had the injectors delivered after ultrasonic cleaning and new seals and caps fitted so its the fuel supply today and remounting the reconditioned turbo.

yes best to replace everything you can while the engine is out,we changed the cambelt with the engine in the other week which was fantastic as previous owner said it was impossible to do with engine in,well he obviously didnt have a x1/9 genius doing it for him :)

Had the block and head done by pros, the rest myself.
Forged pistons blue printed and balanced pwwwwhhh

Hi Charlie
I'm starting with standard setup and standard ECU but plan on playing with it over time, had the block built with bullet proof in mind so it should be good for pushing the power.
Just want to make sure all works well before modding
Mega Sq is an option
Also fast cams
New brain
Custom exhaust

Once its back together will have it set up right and rolling road set and see where we are power wise and how well the car handles and take it from there.

My standard 1500 is going to struggle keeping up with you on them Euro roads in June...

Maybe Ill come along in the Alfa Spyder instead Lol

I remembers a mates hf turbo delta with a simple bleed valve being more than a match for an 8v integrale fast in a straight line - yours is going to be proper mental. :)
