Another one passes its MOT...

I dusted down my green 1300 and took it for an MOT a couple of days ago and it flew straight through with no issues which was very pleasing as the last MOT ran out 3 years ago and its not been used on the road since! (although I've started it up regularly and driven it up and down the alleyway behind where I store it to keep it all freed up). I will definitely be bringing it to some meets this year....

Excellent news - I shall keep a look-out for it on my frequent A12/A127 journeys.

(And not just because I'll soon be after a set of 1300 bumpers...)

Manalishi - I often travel on those roads so who knows our paths may cross.

Chris - Indeed, it is so important to start up the car regularly - on all the X1/9's I've stored long term I've done just that and not had a problem, the one and only X1/9 I neglected to do that, the antifreeze turned to jelly and the whole car generally seized up. I do still have my blue 1300, its tucked up in a garage at the moment waiting for me to get it back on the road! I might still be tempted to sell it for the right offer.
