There's an MZ at the back of the garage too, and we're rebuilding a Balkan 250 at work which came from the transport museum in Sofia.
You may need to google some of the above

Here's the Trabbie engine after its rebuild- it was in pieces when bought, with a holed, very seized piston. 5 moving parts in the engine.. 6 bolts and 15 minutes to remove..
Do you want the white suit man's phone number?

Is that an injected one? I'm surprised there were any left up there, when I lived up in Ross-shire, we sent hundreds back to their homeland on all the Russian ships that docked in Invergordon, we ran out of Lada's so they moved on to Granadas and Passats!

Love the trabant that was next on the list if I couldnt get a Lada
Not injected. One of the very first catalitic cars still running the "ozone" carb. The emission control equipment is very complicated, the carb vacuum system is more complex than the plumbing on the Apollo rocket  .
very interesting so of course with it being pre 1993 all the emmision control stuff is getting ripped out
Always liked the MZ used to have a CZ 125 long ago.
