Just thought I would log my interest for the France 2011 trip. Hopefully I should have my silver X1/9 back on the road and in good shape by then.

I will also have a friend coming with me driving my Freelander as a support vehicle and we will share the X1/9 driving...

So in total with my two son's and his son that will 5 of us...

Now where's the welder...

1989 1500 GF - on the road
2003 Mazda RX8 - modern version of the X1/9

Aspires to a Lancia MonteCarlo (code number by Fiat and Lancia X1/8 then X1/20)

I think the important bit is the support vehicle! It's got as tow bar and we can cache some spares just in case.

Since that week before the weekend is half term, I would need to do France first and then Holland.

show how much I look ahead....

If that week / weekend is a half term week then it makes things a lot easire for me. Will check the school calendar when I get home....

Might have a new GF on the way next week... More details to follow.
