Scotland - A new car for a new year :-) was created by Ewen Brown
Early tomorrow morning, I'll be making my way to Hillhead of Durno, which is just NW of Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, to pick up OPV752W. If anyone sees me give me a wave. Bob Morgan who's the present owner advises the snow is clearing so I hope to have a clear and enjoyable drive. Looking forward to meeting you Bob and Sandie.

No idea Mark but it's time for a clear out. Need to start stripping a few as they're well past it
Also have my Barchetta tucked away in the corner of the barn and after watching Top Gear in Iraq, think it might be time to bring it out of dormancy. We shall see ........
I feel a summer adventure is slowly manifesting itself in my head. There are a few things on the list to go and see and obviously, lots of old friends to revisit. Torino, Lozzolo, Udine or maybe Croatia .......... has been long enough. The Alfa trip this summer was good but although I like them, the pulse only really beats when I'm in an exy. Add an Alpine/Italian element to the car and I'm in another zone
I enjoyed visiting Milan but Torino holds a special place in my heart. The home of Fiat, Lingotto and the buzz when you're driving through the streets in an X1/9. People wave and smile enthusiastically at you and if you're very lucky, you even get to meet ex Bertone employees who worked on the X1/9 as they travelled round the carousel.

Bob's selling the KYB's on ebay. I've got a whole load of them in the garage from people that cancelled orders etc.
Was going to pop by to say hello but it was a long day, up at 05.30 and back at 04.30. Good run though and Aberdeen sea beach and harbour were busy and as interesting as always.
I hope to take part in lots more events this year ........

Hi chaps, it's going to be another weekend car but I hope to give it a decent run during the week too, maybe to work and back. Now I can start planning on sorting the rust on CRL. Windscreen surround is really bad so screen out job is required. A few bits of rust here and there but overall not bad but CRL's red paint is now officially dead so respray required. Will need to fix the infamous dent in the drivers door which was collected during a trip to Udine. Frosty will tell you all about that one
Also want to change over the suspension for the new KYB's. Then there's DJN's exhaust to sort and hopefully get some running in time to iron out any bugs. Hasn't been anywhere since the Italian trip in 1997.

Never mind, if the cars aren't used you'll never have any fun with them will you. What you been up to Frosty? You've been very quiet, everything ok I hope.
