Far too good to scrap. A little bit of filler and it's good to go

Judith must be happy :)

i have never seen one this rotten,if the engine is ok i would put it in the x1/9 but judging by the rest of the car i suspect the engine has been abused too :(

Well, the foot pedals and gearknob look like they might have some life left in them

once you get into it you can realy see the potential

however the floors need a bit of TLC

its a car of many sections but much better to get to the difficult wield spots

just a bit more cutting away bad metal and then the rebuild can start

On Sunday I got a bit of help to move things along and get the savable body parts into storage

Many thanks to Dave and Graeme for there help

Graeme looking thoughtful about what to tackle next

After a bit of delicate hammering the body is finally levered free of the engine

After a bit of careful handling the front end is moved onto a specially adapted trailed so it can be taken to a bespoke storage facility for safe keeping and future use

Graeme making sure that the valuable load is well secured. Wouldn’t want to loose it on the way to storage

The saga continues

yes Graeme bring the mig and I will supply the Proplus and the Redbull :P

Hi Chris. I will take you up on that wager. Only if you help me drink it.

Any way the continuing saga

Finaly got the shell to the bespoke storage facility

where it is carefuly stored next to the boot lid delivered earlier

With the shell out of the way was able to have a closer look at the engine

Yup its an engine.

With so many projects on the go can I resist the temptation to strip it down??

more soon
