Is it just me or are X1/9s now at last beginning to rise in value significantly? I've just been on to pistonheads and some are advertised between 4k and 7.5k! Its about time!

I had my car into IK Classics in Holmfirth last month and head honcho Ian Kellet, who seems pretty knowledgable, reckoned they were due for a re-asessment.
Mind you, if I'd a £ for everytime I've heard THAT over the last 22 years of exxy ownership, I wouldn'tneed to play the lottery

I agree. Two years ago I had to have an independant assesor come and value my black car for the insuarance and it was valued at 3K. This year it was valued at 3.5k and I have done nothing to her. Though she has sat in the garage since the North East meet  (Only because I was restoring the orange one you lot).

I think I under-valued mines on the insurance, I put down 1k (only because it cost less than half that) - but then again the bodywork on mines isn't the greatest and there is that nosecone which doesn't match up great!

May look into an independent assessment if I had a respray though!
