Bought it at the begining of the year and drove it up from Leeds. Was a bit nervious about undertaking that sort of journey in a car that had only covered 300 miles in th last 2 years, especially at that time of year.
Happy to say all went well.
That is the car as I bought it.
Dose anyone know the car?? As far as I know the owner wasnt a club member.

Sitting in the local paint shop getting refreshed for the spring.
The painter was kind enough to let me stip the car myself in has workshop to help keep the costs down
Happy to say the the car has turned out to be very solid with only a few small repairs needing done.
Cheers
Guy

Thanks Les, Mark
The red one (the one you have seen) and the Lido are in the garage at home. The orange one is at the paint shop for at least another month.
Sadly the green one is sitting out under a car cover. This one however is so far gone that it needs a reshell. So it is being used for spares just now. Will prob be next years project if I can get Ewan to sell me his good VS shell

Yes I still plan to have the Lido dipped but that will have to wait untill after the summer now. The money I put aside to get the job done has gone on the impulse buy of the orange car, but I couldn't say no.
So the new plan is orange one to show off in the spring time, The red one to thrash about and have fun in and the Lido to work on when the bank balance has recovered a bit (well a lot to be honest
Enough to keep me out of trouble

Cheers

Yes the Red one is fine. Tucked up in the garage for the winter getting some bit and bobs done so I can use it in the spring.
HHHMMM... a blue one.... a full set, that idea hadn't occured to me honest
Not sure my wife could handle having another car around at the moment so in case she reads this
IF ANYONE HAS A BLUE ONE THAT THEY DONT WANT IN ANY CONDITION, ROTTEN, NO ENGINE ETC ETC MUST HAVE GOOD/EXCELLENT INTERIOUR THEN YOU MUST NOT LET ME KNOW
think that is clear enough
Cheers
