I have long thought about eyelashes on the pods... but I would have used paint brush bristles, not crepe paper or whatever they are! Seem to have gone floppy... paint brush bristles would have been so much more "real" :lol:

My eldest wants it as her first car,she saw it the first time it was on Ebay. Problem is if it was up my drive,everyone would think it was mine!! :oops:

Surprisingly got a reasonable insurance quote for her on a provisional licence too, that backfired on me as I was trying to make the point that it was out of reach... :roll:

Aw Tiff,

No, but I was actually very chuffed that "those funny little cars that dad messes about with" are cool enough for a 15 year old to have plans for! Maybe my incessant rambling about mid engines,and handling perfection aren't quite the reason for this,but fine by me anyway!

Last MOT time my local garage man told me he restored an x1/9 some years ago for a young lady and sprayed it Pink. I wonder if there is more than one pink X1/9
