hi i made the most of my day off as the sun was out and took my exxy out for the day,i parked up outside my mates gym and a guy ran up shouting 'oh you have made my day,not seen one of these for years, beautiful' i personally have not seen one in west sussex for over 5 yrs and mine gets so much attention, went for a meal sunday and parked outside and over 10 people were curious to what it was, they had trouble reading the fading bertone badge haha its nice to see the appreciation!!

Hats off to you Pete... That what I love the most about owning this unique little car, when in the seat it never fails to put a smile on your face.
The next best thing is the amount of positive interest from people every where I take it. Roll on 2010 another year of great drives and great club events.

Yes very much, many people who came to chat were ex members and knew the car and Neil so that was of great interest. One of our south Wales members has one of the Lidos in your photos 35,000 miles and in mint condition, he showed me his photos so ive no reason to doubt him.
What really came across at the show was that many many x1/9s are still out there in good condition many been owned long term or as projects that seldom see the light of day.
