Having put the yellow beastie to bed for winter i needed to move it to my other garage And just as well i did as Mr mouse had got into the interior and had a great time he ate my seats my cd case map door cards my silly hats, :evil: :evil: No jokes about the car being a yellow triangle of cheese and the mouse was just hungry grimy has already cracked that one.so check on your cars weekly or mr mouse might :wink: :wink:

Andy that bites!!. Have you put a trap out for the wee beastie. by that I mean the mouse. Well if ever there was an excuse to retrim the car now you have it.

perhaps you need to think carbon fibre door cards :? . There not that easy to chew :wink:

Sorry to hear of your plight Andy, reminds me of a time way back I had a pair of absolutely mint black leather VS seats in my garage waiting to go in my X1/9 but I left the door open overnight and Mr Fox got in and chewed the seats to bits! But after reading this I'm off to the hardware store to get a couple of mousetraps to put in both my 1300's to see them safely through their winter hibernation! :)

Les - you'd be surprised at the gaps mice can squeeze through and the way the shimmy up seemingly impossible vertical slopes - I would imagine they get up in the front wheel arch and liner area and from there make their way into the cabin...

Mice, don't talk to me about mice... little beggar got in and ate many things including the PVC off the aerial cable, spark plug leads etc etc... went with me to Ireland one year but we left early in the morning before he got back to bed and he got left behind. :P
