Halfords Calcium Batteries

It's worthy of note that Halfords currently have 20% off their 'Calcium' range of batteries. I was sorely tempted, but just stocked up on coolant 3 for the price of 2.

Is it the one for the C15 van that fits but has a higher power rating?

One of the great thing about these batteries is they come with a 4 year guarantee. I think that they’re worth the extra £s over time. I have them in both my cars.

No, I'm just starting the repairs to the coolant system.
When I removed the radiator, I couldn't see through the core, it was so blocked with road crap and paint overspray! No wonder it kept overheating!
I'm hoping for a trouble free trip to Ireland next year, but I'll pack coolant just in case!

...Also their car covers seem to be half price at the moment! - I bought a Dupont fabric one for only 30 quid at the weekend, its the small version and it fits the 1300 like a glove!
