I see the Club is being badmouthed on the Fiat Forum. Perhaps the committee might like to respond?

I note that the aggrieved former members are from the same part of Scotland, an interesting coincidence?

Cheers R

EDIT: The more I read on the Fiat Forum the more I think it is sour grapes and the offenders got their just desserts.

Thanks Rachael

This whole sorry affair concerns me greatly.

The original 'banning' was communicated to you all in the posting 'Important Notice' in the Club Notices section back in June 2008 and also in the mag.

macmario joined the club soon after dallaraturbo was 'banned'.
macmario's posts were linked with dallaraturbo and so the Committee decided to suspend access to the forum.
This decision was not communicated to macmario.
We fully expected a call from macmario requesting help in gaining access to the forum - as any genuine member would.
This macmario did not do.
macmario was never 'banned' from the club.
Macmario's membership ran its course and membership was not renewed.

biggbn joined soon after macmario.
Many of biggbn's posts referred to events that occurred before he joined and also continued to refer to and picture dallaraturbo and her car in a deliberate attempt we believe to keep the pain inflicted by dallaraturbo raw.
This biggbn did over a period of almost a year.
biggbn was banned after painful deliberation by the Committee.

You are correct Rachael, they are all from the same part of Scotland, no coincidence.

I am truly sorry that this unpleasantness continues by it's appearance on the Fiat Forum.
Cha40 is dallaraturbo's partner by the way.

Obviously this is a very condensed version of what has happened over the last year but I hope it gives you all a flavour of the unpleasantness that the Committee has been dealing with.

If you want to discuss this further with myself, PM me or give me a call, number in the front of the mag.

Well replied

That’s the way this situation should be handled, in full, and open for the entire club to see.

And in the words of Oscar Wild (well I think it was him)
“It’s better to be talked about, than not talked about at all”

And in the words of Paul
