Well having just met all of you, I am off to Germany, where hopefully I shall continue to enjoy the Exxy ( If it makes it )

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you who have helped inspire me on my way and will no doubt keep me going.

As I have mentioned if there is enough interest, I shall organise a ENGLAND - GERMANY rematch err meet sometime in 2006.

I am allready planning, so if you are interested let me and alll the others too!! It is only 367 miles and 30 pounds return on the tunnel!

Thanks for putting up with my articles too, must have been boring... as i am sure this is, so off to sleep you go....

Speak soon

James

All the best, and stick around these 'ere parts...

By the way Paul - if you get round to organising a German tour, you GOTTA include a trip round the "Ring" - now that would be a sight, a procession of Exxies whizzing around! :)

Well hello to all from the other side of the little river!

would you believe I made it with out a hickup in sight, the car was fantastic, if not somewhat loud....

I have settled in and enjoying the delights of ebay Germany.... Wonderful!! They have so much more here!! Including a new Ansa four way pipe it went for 256 euros, thats crazy!!!

But before i bid I have to take the car to the TÜV - which is a very very stringent MOT - but it lasts for three years soo, can't really blame them.

Have yet a bit of work to do but with my own ramps and a big Shed/ mini barn to work in things are much better.

Frosty, have not got your post card yet!!?

Just for those who are reading this do check ebay germany, as most descriptions are in english and they have a huge choice, wierd things like gaskets and rear brake piston covers

( cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... %3AIT&rd=1 )

Oh work calls, got to go more to come....

Greetings from 17°C sunny Germany

Beware guys - the problem is a lot of German ebayers think the world ends at the German borders and they point-blank refuse to post abroad - and are only to happy to leave negative feedback immediately to non-German bidders!! Luckily it hasn't happpened to me yet as I put the pages through Babelfish and check carefully... but I do know lots of people who this has happened to! Certainly not tarring all Germans with the same brush though, one really nice German chap who outbid me on a manual recently was only too happy to photocopy it and sent it to me absolutely free, when I emailed him asking him how much to copy and send it to me! - what a gent....

Jim well noted, but try to see it this way, a foreigner bids on one of your products knows what he wants to say/do in his own language, but you do not respect that he is a foreigner and send him a complicated p**s take email...

But hee ho, it takes all sorts...

A big tip is this guys shop: www.wum-autoteile.de he has had some original cromadore CD30 Mag. wheels for sale!! arround 411 euros plus post.

If anyone has a problem or question then given some reasonable time I can help!! Just pm or email me!
