Non member requires valuation help

We've had an enquiry from a non-member :

I've inherited a mica blue gran finale 1989 it has 38,000 miles on the clock one owner until the paperwork was changed to me taxed till Sept 09 mot Sept 09 lots of service history original papers and hand books from when it was purchased and at some point it has had £6,000 pounds spent on it, and I have no idea what to do with it ? how much it is worth or anything

The car is based in Blackpool and the owner is looking for some help. Is the area RO or other local member able to make contact and help him out ? Sounds like he is trying to sell the car but has no idea about value etc.

I will, of course, be offering him advertising space in the next magazine .. for a fee

PM or reply here if you can help.

Would we not asking him to make a contribution to club funds as well !
Asking some one to go out of their way to look at a X1/9 or better ask them to move it to the next Club meet in his region

Went to see this car today, by no means perfect but quite good.
The car was his fathers bought from new been garaged all it life used only in summer.
Mica Blue GF,
BAD POINTS
Bottom drivers door bubbling badly and some strange minor bubbling of the paint work in the centre of the front bonnet (?cause).
Some damage to the passenger door interior trim.
minor rusting in usual place in front boot where frint struts are spot welded.

GOOD POINTS
Starts Runs and Drives and stops very well (120mph)
No other problems that I could see.

I have asked him to contact Chris with a view of advertising it for sale in the Mag.
