That looks like a tidy car. It's nice to see an earlier 1500 in good condition like that. Looks like it's had a bit of welding on the back of the o/s cill but i suppose it is 26 years old.

That's almost exactly the same as my X.

Colour, mileage, trim, interior, wheels... Only differences are mine's on a 'A' plate, and has had a few previous owners.

Mum bought one in 1980... OWT 721 W... just like that.

I "bought " it from her (long story :!: ) in '88............. & had a Faran conversion in '89 (for my sins :oops: Great concept, but teething troubles, & the factory fire didn't help :!: ).

That looks a lovely car... & a rare (& Very attractive) colour these days...

If Only I had the space... & the funds... I'd be haggling :!: :twisted: :wink:

It brings back many memories of 29 years of X1/9ing...mainly fond ones :!:

Just a thought. Did you buy the car from Pitcable (outside Aberdeen). If so I delivered the struts and remember the car. Not a bad example at all.

No, from a friend in Bedforshire, but he didn't have the car for long. Don't remember where it was before that.
