found an 86 two tone (red over Charcoal) VS yesterday really good nick apart from boot lid of which i have two spare so not a problem, So i purchased said item and am picking it up next week .Advise now needed on how the hell i tell the missus that ive just bought another car and why the new living room furniture will have to wait another couple of months before we get it.
Your best excuses required gentlemen or im in deep Doo Doo.
Just while im at it this has a small spoiler fitted to the boot is this an original item or retro fit .if retro what badge went on the original boot lid

Car seats are the latest "look" in the living room.... an expensive replacement for the "beanbag".
How big's the spoiler? Is it a Gran Finale one, or smaller?
Sharon.

Gee Thanks Sharon !!!!
Don't think the black leather will fit into the current subtle shades of green and biege.
Spoilers is much smaller than pics i can find of the grand finale so guess its a retro fit it looks pretty good though so not sure if i will keep it or go for original look

But i think ive now got it covered
Going to drive it home and say nothing
Then when Lynne asks i will use the most common phrase used in our house when she pulls something new from the wardrobe
"What that old thing ! Ive had that for ages "

Your nick name says it all
Very severe FROSTY stare
an utterance of "You sad old Git"
and a melted Credit card for the new furniture
Some you win and some you lose
I rekon though I'm about quits on this one

going to take the roof off now and go for a blast in my nice new shiny exxy
now thats a Consolation prize
Lovely Jubbly
