rare fiat....

i had a drive in this rare fiat the other day....



..and y'all thought x1/9 were rare...i have never seen such a nice uno turbo mk1 as this and jeeeesuus is it quick....a forgotten hot hatch if ever there was one....i took this picture at st andrews italian car day and couldnt believe it when i met the owner yesterday and he gave me the keys!!!!.....small world but ya wouldnt wanna paint it, eh???.....

only mk1s i had previously seen were red or white....the blue really suits this wee pocket rocket dontcha think.....iv added one to my ever expanding list of 'fiats i must own'.....

thats the very one...i visited this mystery fiat specialist whom everyone it seems loves to hate to make my own mind up, and because it seemed stupid to have a fiat enthusiast with a garage less than 5 miles from my house and not use him...and he is gonna look after my fiats for me now.....at a much better rate than the guy i used up till yesterday!!!!...

i had only met the guy once before when i went to view the much discussed blue car...again, please..no more comments..but got a much better chat with him the otehr day, and im happy to use him for my servicing....he seemed very interested in my coupe and having a mechanic who has a bit of passion makes more sense to me than the usual guys who just suck air thru their teeth, shake their heads and say, na mate, its a fiat, its gonna cost you a fortune!!


please, no mud slinging about this, im just interested in cars...and his uno is a belter...!!!

Must admit the orange exxy is a smart looking car! would have liked to see it some time.

had a good look at it the other day...looks amazing...leather seats, turbo running gear...must have taken a lot of work to get it in that condition....really stands out from the crowd..

This was the best colour, second to this was the metallic grey. Always wanted a mrk.1 Uno Turbo, better looking than than the Mk.2 imho. I think many now have been canibalised for engines for our x1/9's though.
