Hello and thank you

Hi all, first post!

I used to have an X1/9 in the early nineties, lost this to a sensible car, however got the bug again!

I just wanted to pass on my thanks to a couple of people.

Firstly, Ewan for providing me with initial advice on the purchase of an X19, including passing me Tiff's email and secondly to Tiff, his advice and help in the short time that I have known him has been incredible.

In my excitement to buy a car, I won a shed on ebay, however managed to withdraw from sale due to the desc given not actually matching the car.

Then did the sensible thing and bought a car advertised on the forum, red X1/9 from Devon.
With some more advice from Tiff and numerous photo's from the seller, I flew down to Exeter and then drove all the way back to Fife in just over 8 hours.

Some more advice and help from Tiff, car now has a full years MOT.

Glad that I bought the car on the sensible route and am now looking forward to enjoying it and having a wee tour of Ireland in September.

Welcome to the club. Lets see some pics of the car then. You should save your Ireland trip for next year and come with the club.

Thats a good car you've got there, and another Scottish member! Roll on the sunshine!!
