I took a cracking car on that trip, a silver 1500 reg DJN 310X. On returning to the U.K. the cylinder head blew 50 miles south of Manchester. The car was recovered via the AA nad has slept in a Carcoon ever since.
Tonight the car was winched from the confines of my garage and the car slowly rolled into natural sunlight for the first time in 10 years. Just before the trip to Italy the car had been given a full bare metal respray and tonight I realised the car is still a true head turner. A few spots of rust but once the new engine has been shoe horned in the car will look and drive as Bertone's masterpiece should.
CRL awaits his turn for some TLC but hopefully DJN will be back on the road shortly where he belongs.

The car is OK but the trailer looks fantastic, is that the one you were bringing down to the North East last Tuesday.
How many have you got for July 12th.

I spoke to someone who got a tour round Lamborghini which has to be top of the list. Also need to visit the vineyard. Anything else is a bonus.
How about that 2010 trip then to celebrate. I might also have a trip to Mount Kinabalu to celebrate my cousin's 50th but I think 2010 would be a good round number to organise a return marathon
