Has anyone else had trouble with their membership renewal? Mine was up on 1st August and I posted my cheque the week before expiry.
I received the latest club mag but I don't think my cheque has been cashed and two emails to membership@x1-9ownersclub.org.uk have gone unanswered.
I want to contribute my £25 to the club (especially if I'm still receiving mags - I don't want to 'sponge' freebies!), plus membership is a condition of my insurance - so it's quite important really.
Cheers
Simon

I recently went back to visit mum back in Loughborough. Fortunately she knows my ex landlord and landlady, who popped around with one item of important post delivered to my old address....yes, the missing August club magazine!!
I have been in similar situations when I did the regalia, so would recommend no one rely solely on email alone, or/and allow 28 days for processing of enquiries etc, and have a little patience, as I know the membership roles in particular, are pretty demanding roles for our volunteers ie no one is paid for doing what they do..
I think the standard phrase of all who complain at this stage might be that the roles are all coming up for renewal at the AGM, so stick your hand up if you want to help out.......I feel the likes of our Frosty and Robo will probably be eternally grateful

So does that mean grimy and myself are still members then?

As emails do tend to go missing, it would be better if anyone with queries with membership phone either Daryl or Myself. We don't bite!
Unfortunately this forum has been the demise of a few committee members.

Was sorry to hear you and Darryl would be getting your lifes back, and agree totally about the demise thing. Would certainly not want to go there again.
On a brighter note, this forum has also seen the introduction of new committee members too. Lets not forget you Andy
but yes, mixed messages and confusing text on a forum can cause problems, and agravate a situation, where a phone call can clarify matters.
