Tiff - I'm surprised you *still* had that car on your driveway.

I must admit to everybody else that it's bad condition was largely due to me having it as an only car and no garage for eight Scottish winters. It used to leak into both footwells and I remember literally having to bail out the water if it had been raining hard for a couple of days. My guilt was eased somewhat by the rumour (??) that those later cars were made of poor quality metal.
