My day today... was created by Tiff
the sun was shining today,so I decided to rationalise all my X1/9 stuff, and find out what I had lying about.I took the cover off the GF which has been residing at the side of my house for a few years now.Its by far the worst I've seen,(apart from Graeme's Lido!!)and I've admitted to myself its beyond saving
Had an afternoon stripping out anything that was useful, and dragged the rest out of its place with our wee Punto, with 3 of the 4 wheels locked!
The X is rotten beyond belief, every single panel is gone, every nook and cranny holed. I've taken some pics here, but for once, the real thing is worse than the pics!
If anyone spots anything on whats left of it that the need, tell me now,and I'll save it for ya! Its off to be crushed early next week.

When it comes to x1/9's, No! But in my past I have driven some very sad Fiats. My £50 Panda, which I sold on for £45, was a scoobydoo car. My 127's both were great, little rot. My Fiat Regretta, sorry Regatta, was actually GREAT! A spunky car, engine wise.

Hi Tiff
Im after the bracket from the bottom of the drivers side window from a late model electric window type.
I have updated from the old type of motors and for some reason i can not find the drivers window, would take the whole window.
Let me know how much?
Thanks
Mark
PS Maybe able to collect from you, also after the passenger side carpet strip holder from the door pillar, the one that looks like a giant fish hook

Hi Tiff
I think you are giving up too easily, have seen exies advertised as in need of a little welding that were worse than yours.
Do you have any tech info on original specification for the suspension coil springs on a standard 1500.
Spring rate, number of coils, wire diameter and mean diameter, I have two sample rear springs, they are the same length but stiffness varies by 18%.
