I was speaking to an Italian I.T. technician today who now lives and works in the U.K. He used to live near Grugliasco in Torino and has a few friends that work at Bertone. I asked him if there was any news and he said things weren't good. He said Bertone messed up with a design for Renault, it is supposed to be a Clio cabriolet that has put them up the river without a paddle. When tested the soft top leaked like a sieve hence nobody wants to touch Bertone with a barge pole.
Has anyone else heard this story. Was supposed to be big headlines in Italian papers. Bertone have been floundering since and that this all happened approx 2 years ago.
