Your so right Rob. It was roof off from the MOT station. I think that if you use the car then it works better. So mine is MOT'd and insured all year long. I did almost 5000Mls this year and cost less than my family car to run for a year.

Where did you get it done : I'll go there when mine's due next month.

A. J. Ross on Ashley park lane. They work on alot of old cars and are a fair garage. If your car should fail the MOT then they will fail it thou. Best thing to do is prepare it first. Read Tiffs excellent write up on MOT testing. If you go through this then you should have no problem. It's in one of the past mags (you can download the PDFs).

Today was one of those days that I am pleased I keep it taxed all year round, out for 3 hours in the afternoon sunshine roof off just going no-where. Superb!!

Exxy was pressed into regular use when the Alfa 164 failed it's MOT.....and I asked the guy if I could book another car in and told him it was an Exxy .....he just laughed, something about Italian & Glutton-for-punishment.......it flew thru as it did last year too !!

These cars are amazing - it's been more/as reliable than most things I've owned.......

Mine passed last week - no advisory, nothing. Well chuffed

It's only failed one MOT out of the four - and that was the first one in my ownership and I knew it would fail, but wanted to know I'd bought a decent car before investing too much in it. Rock solid :!:
